In the Wine Museum there is a large exhibition 750 objects related culture of the came, dating from the first century XIV, precedents of antiquity.
It is located in a part of the ancient bodegas of the frailes carmelitas, where they began making wine in the fourteenth century. The first documented individualized wine that is precisely the "pair saw", delivered to the general French occupation 29 September 1809. The wine museum occupies four rooms installed in the mid-sixties by Manolo Muntañola, one of the best interior designers of the twentieth century Barcelona.
The tour ends with a walk through the winery where the cellar Great Cloister is made, with galleries running through the basement of the Convento del Carmen. This is a winery in active, where the process presence of more traditional and spoiled cava Peralada Castle.
